About the Book
The Palestine question has evolved from a territorial dispute into one of the most complex political, legal, and humanitarian crises of the modern era. Particularly after the events of 7 October 2023 and the subsequent war in Gaza, longstanding debates surrounding occupation, sovereignty, apartheid, settler colonialism, human rights, and international law have gained renewed global visibility. This edited volume examines the Palestine question through an interdisciplinary perspective by bringing together analyses on Arab-Israeli normalization, China’s Palestine policy, global protest movements, religious radicalism, philosophical debates on universalism and “the other,” and Israel’s settlement policies in the occupied Palestinian territories. By situating the issue within broader regional and global transformations, the book argues that the Palestine question should be understood not merely as a regional conflict, but also as a central crisis of justice, legitimacy, and the contemporary international order.
Keywords: Israel-Palestine Conflict; Gaza War; Settler Colonialism; Apartheid; International Law; Middle East Politics.
